Rooms
Ping Nakara has 19 spacious rooms each decorated with hand-picked furniture and luxurious materials. All the furniture and accessories reflect the colonial theme of the property, yet you won’t need to sacrifice any modern conveniences. Many rooms have balconies overlooking the pool and central courtyard, and some of the Royal Deluxe rooms come with a jacuzzi.
Bathroom supplies are provided by our in-house Nakara Spa and are made from all natural materials. Complimentary wi-fi is available throughout the building, and we have a library of DVDs available for watching in your room.
Restaurant and Facilities
There is a restaurant within the hotel which features freshly cooked Thai dishes and some western favourites. This is where we serve breakfast too, consisting of a buffet of Asian and Western dishes along with a la carte selections cooked for you by our chef.
The hotel has a small bar next to the library, where guests can relax with drinks and snacks and a shaded verandah by the pool, which is a perfect spot for afternoon tea or sundowners.
Nakara Spa is an ayurvedic spa providing relaxation and health treatments.
Location
Ping Nakara is located on a quiet street in one of the oldest quarters of Chiang Mai next to the river. The area has historical interest as the location of the old British Consulate and the French legation to northern Thailand. The hotel is conveniently located to close to shopping areas (it’s only a short walk to the Night Bazaar and downtown) and yet an easy get away for touring in the countryside.
