Phuket background

Phuket is probably best known for its stunning beaches where you can lounge while enjoying the sun and the water for days on end. Kammala beach

Kammala beach, situated north of the popular Patong, is a stunning and more quiet beach where the surroundings are relaxing and peaceful. It has a number of boutique hotels at a lower price but there is also higher end accommodation available.
Patong Beach

Patong Beach is the most visited beach and has the greatest variety in accommodation from huge resorts to smaller hotels. The area is full of restaurants and nightlife so that after spending a day on the beach you can continue into the evening with wonderful food and entertainment.

Karon Beach

Karon Beach is much quieter. Some terrific boutique resorts can be found on the hillsides or down on the beach front.

Rawai Beach

Rawai Beach has a very local feel and is known for its great seafood restaurants all along the beach front. It is a get away from the large crowds and it offers a different experience from most of the other areas of the island. Rawai also has some of the best hotels in Phuket.

If you are looking for a chic and modern accommodation, it can be found in Phuket Town in the Southeast of the island.

Chalong Bay is famous for its diving, snorkeling , yachting, and fishing businesses. The Chalong Pier is where people leave for other islands and it has some interesting boutique hotels around.
