Rooms
All units feature a private balcony with stunning views of the Andaman Sea and surrounding bays. Another feature is the high, open space ceiling in the bed and living room area as well as unique al fresco bathrooms with rain showers. The resort offers five different kinds of accommodation: Superior Garden Villa, Superior Jacuzzi Villa, Deluxe Jacuzzi Villa, Royal Jacuzzi Villa and Family Jacuzzi Suite Villa. All Villas have been designed to be "naturally cool", with very high insulation, air ventilation through the roof and under the floor. Even without air-conditioning, you will feel comfortable and relaxed. Each Villa is equipped with, large rain shower, cabel TV, free broadband wireless internet, separate sitting area, large balcony with a coffee table and armchairs, minibar, coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, safety box, bath robes, private CD player, IDD telephone, etc.
Dining
The Restaurant offers a la carte Mediterranean delights with Asian tastes in a refreshing open-air setting. For classic Royal Thai Cuisine, we present you a menu with many famous Thai dishes. Everything is freshly prepared. Special requests are always welcome. The Pool Bar, partially integrated into the swimming pool, opens from the morning until 19:00 and it is popular for sundowners during happy hour. The Lounge Bar is located above the lobby. It offers great views from the terrace and guests enjoy a refreshing breeze at night time. Live music is scheduled regularly and it makes the Lounge Bar a perfect place for pre- or post-dinner drinks. The underground Wine Cellar is a unique feature in Phuket. Two flights of stairs down and guests have the feeling to be somewhere in the Bordeaux region. In Room Dining is available all through the day until 22:00. A variety of Western and Asian meals can be served in the privacy of your room.
Services & Facilities
The large swimming pool is the heart of the property. Adjacent to the swimming pool is the famous Ayurveda Destination Spa. The Fitness Centre is located in the lower part of the Spa Building. The resort offers a free shuttle service to Nai Harn beach, one of the best beaches in Phuket. Other shuttles services and airport transportation are available as well against a charge. The Guest Service Agents assist guests with the booking of land and see excursions and with any other requirements around the clock.
Location
Golden Tulip Mangosteen is located in the South of Phuket and on a private hillside offering fantastic views over Phuket town, various bays and islands of the Andaman Sea. The resort is located 5 minutes from Rawai and Nai Harn which are among frequent visitors to Phuket. Both little towns have now lively areas with a multitude of local and international restaurants and bars in every price category. There is a huge choice of local Thai restaurants, seafood restaurants offering delicious and fresh fish, crabs, lobsters, oysters, etc. There are also international and Western style cuisines in the area. Different from other tourist hotspots on the island, here in the South, locals, expats and tourists mingle in a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Other attractions in the area are the famous Promthep Cape from where millions of visitors admire spectacular sunsets every year. The recently completed Big Buddha is 45 meters tall and sits on top of a hill in Chalong offering unique views of the East and West coasts of the island. Diving and many other sea excursions start from the modern Chalong pier.
